NBC will be airing a brand-new behind-the-scenes special, centered on the upcoming film adaptation of Wicked. Headlined by stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, the film will air on November 25, two days before Part One premieres in theaters. In celebration of the generation-defining, cinematic event of the year, international superstars Erivo and Grande will lead an all-star cast in a journey through a dazzling new vision of Oz, created for Universal Pictures’ Wicked.

In a new interview with Variety, Wicked director Jon M. Chu discussed his first meeting with Cynthia Erivo and their time together on the set of the highly anticipated movie. He highlighted the magic of Erivo's performance in the film, specifically citing the powerful anthem Defying Gravity.

Due to enormous demand, four additional weeks of the musical phenomenon WICKED have been released for the Brisbane season up until 17 November, with general public tickets from 10 May.

On Wednesday, the highly anticipated film version of the Broadway musical Wicked, debuted new footage at a CinemaCon panel at Caesars Palace. According to reports, actors Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, Michelle Yeoh, and Jeff Goldblum were all in attendance and the presentation featured a newly recorded introduction by the Wizard himself.

Wicked has been playing to ecstatic full houses at Melbourne’s Regent Theatre since it opened on 2 March. Due to demand, new performances  for WICKED have been released for sale up until 28 July, with presales beginning today and general public tickets from 12 April.

WICKED, Hartford's most popular musical, will return to The Bushnell on April 24 through May 12, 2024.  

WICKED is seeking new talent for its Broadway and touring companies. The show will hold an open call in Los Angeles on Monday, April 8.

In a new preview of the Wicked movie, director Jon M. Chu reveals that leading ladies Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo opted to sing live while filming the movie. Kristin Chenoweth is sharing her thoughts after seeing 'a little bit' of the Wicked movie. When speaking about her good friend Ariana Grande taking over the role of Glinda, Chenoweth has always 'wanted this to happen.' Chenoweth has not confirmed if she and co-star Idina Menzel are making cameos in the new movie, she says that she's 'very proud.'
