YPO Voice Competition Awards $46K in Prizes to Young Singers
(4/30/2013) - Young Patronesses of the Opera (YPO), in conjunction with Florida Grand Opera (FGO), held the 27th edition of YPO Voice Competition, awarding $46,000 in prizes to young singers from around the country. The Finals Concert and Awards Ceremony were held at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County on Saturday, April 27, 2013.

(4/26/2013) - As a result of ongoing interaction and dialogue with residents and stakeholders of the Miami Beach community, Portman-CMC's evolving master plan design for the Miami Beach Convention Center District will preserve the Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theater. Portman-CMC has been selected by the City of Miami Beach to propose a development plan for the Miami Beach Convention Center District.

MIKE TYSON: UNDISPUTED TRUTH Comes to Arsht Center Tonight
(4/16/2013) - The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County has partnered with renowned producer/promoter Larry Magid to present MIKE TYSON: UNDISPUTED TRUTH, a one-man theatrical show performed by legendary boxer MIKE TYSON, directed by Spike Lee and produced by James Nederlander. Following a successful run on Broadway and in Las Vegas, MIKE TYSON: UNDISPUTED TRUTH embarks on a national tour that includes a one-night only engagement at the Arsht Center's Knight Concert Hall tonight, April 16, 2013.

(4/15/2013) - The Florida State University Student Theatre Association presents their phenomenally heart-wrenching and thought-provoking spring musical production, See What I Wanna See, directed by FSU student Casey Vaughan. This production will run from April 19 - 21 in the Augusta Conradi Studio Theatre, located in the Williams Building.
The Delray Beach Chorale Performs Bernstein and Sondheim, 4/12-13
(4/12/2013) - The Delray Beach Chorale's spring concert will feature the music of two of America's - and Broadway's - most honored and beloved composers. The 60-voice chorale, under the direction of Conductor/Artistic Director Eric Keiper, will perform selections from the works of Stephen Sondheim and Leonard Bernstein. The concerts will take place at the Duncan Theatre in Lake Worth tonight, April 12th at 7:30 pm, and at the First Presbyterian Church in Delray Beach on Saturday, April 13th, at 3:00 pm.
