YPO Voice Competition Awards $46K in Prizes to Young Singers
(4/30/2013) - Young Patronesses of the Opera (YPO), in conjunction with Florida Grand Opera (FGO), held the 27th edition of YPO Voice Competition, awarding $46,000 in prizes to young singers from around the country. The Finals Concert and Awards Ceremony were held at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County on Saturday, April 27, 2013.

The 60-voice chorale, under the direction of Conductor/Artistic Director Eric Keiper, will perform selections from the works of Stephen Sondheim and Leonard Bernstein. The concerts will take place at the Duncan Theatre in Lake Worth tonight, April 12th at 7:30 pm, and at the First Presbyterian Church in Delray Beach on Saturday, April 13th, at 3:00 pm.
