World Premiere- 'Terminal Baggage' Lands in Miami
Mad Cat Theatre Company presents the world premiere of Terminal Baggage by Paul Tei and Ivonne Azurdia
For many, an airport is like purgatory; a necessary evil before arriving at your final destination or an ever-changing always the same pit stop in a harried schedule. In Terminal Baggage, 8 actors take on multiple characters as they travel from Miami to Berlin to Chicago and back, all caught in an unending cycle of arrivals, departures, lost luggage, new loves, perfect strangers and chance encounters. The lives intersecting in these fleeting encounters exist in the unique and fragile ecosystem of an airport, all hoping to get bumped up to first class.
Terminal Baggage stars Ivonne Azurdia, Erik Fabregat, Scott Genn, Katie Amadeo, George Schiavone, Kameshia Duncan, Matt Glass and Jessica Farr.
Terminal Baggage is directed by artistic director Paul Tei, and also features the Mad Cat Theatre Company's award winning resident designers: set design by Paul Tei, lighting design by Travis Neff, costumes by Karelle Levy, sound design by Natan Samuels.
