The Garden Theatre has formed a three-way partnership with locally renowned theatre instructor Karen Rugerio/Act III Acting Studio and Valencia College's Entertainment Design and Technology Program to develop a series of youth acting classes. Each camp will culminate with a showcase or production on the Garden Theatre stage. The productions will star Rugerio's acting students grades K-12, while the production team will consist of Valencia College students in their Technical Theatre Production summer class.

Creative Dramatics
Monday-Friday, June 20-24, 9am-12noon
Kids will experience the joy of performing through games, songs, and storytelling. No prior experience necessary.
Grades K-3
Cost: $200
ABCs of Acting
Monday-Friday, June 20-24, 1-5pm
Learn the basics of acting - this intro to theatre allows older kids to get in the act! No prior experience necessary.
Grades 4-10
Cost: $200
Improvisation with Joe Fatone, Sr.
Monday-Friday, July 11-15, 1-5pm
Using proven methods, kids will hone their skills in this class with pop superstar
Joey Fatone's dad. Improvisation helps with problem solving and quick thinking. Some prior experience with theatre is helpful.

Youth Theatre Production
Monday-Friday, June 27-July 15, 9am-4pm
Grades K-5 - performing Disney's Jungle Book Kids
Grades 6-12 - performing Footloose
This three-week "Summer-Stock"-like program gives students a chance to perform in a fully-staged production, complete with sets and costumes, at the end of the session. No prior experience necessary, all levels are welcome. Learn the basics as you perform.

The Youth Theatre Production Camp will perform their respective shows on Friday-Sunday, July 15-17. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children 12 and under.
