Hannah Hausman Greaux Joins Actors' Playhouse As New Associate Director Of Development
Hannah Hausman Greaux, an accomplished fundraiser, marketing professional, and supporter of the arts with over ten years of non-profit experience was named Associate Director of Development at Actors' Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre.
Greaux, a graduate of the University of Miami where she studied theatre performance and broadcasting, has spent the past five years as the Director of External Relations for the Miami Children's Museum. Her extensive work with non-profits led her to be chosen as grant panelist for the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs as well as a committee member and speaker for the National Association of Children's Museums. Her community involvement includes volunteer work for the Junior Orange Bowl and the Humane Society, as well as teaching children's theatre classes at the University of Miami Theatre Academy and the Coral Gables Youth Center. She is also a talented portrait photographer with pieces published by St. Martin's Press and Jacket Magazine. In 2006, Greaux was identified by South Florida CEO Magazine as a NextGen Future leader.
Executive Producing Director Barbara S. Stein says the addition of Greaux is a huge asset to Actors' Playhouse. "Her work ethic, proven track record, and commitment to the arts are just what this theatre needs. I have known Hannah for several years and I am extremely excited about adding her to our team."
Greaux's first task will be fundraising for the Actors' Playhouse 2010 Reach for the Stars Gala Auction which takes place in April 2010. The Auction is the priMary Fundraiser for the capital improvements of the historic Miracle Theatre and the operating costs of the season. Last year's event raised $115,000.
