Entr'Acte cast members are hard at work learning the business of ‘The Business'. And their upcoming production of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying will prove without a doubt that for these young people, ‘there's no business like show business'!

How to Succeed... is the latest production of Entr'Acte Theatrix - an exciting new Production Company established last year by Palm Beach Principal Players founder Vicki Halmos.

The show will run from June 16th through June 26th at the Count de Hoernle Theatre (home of the Caldwell Theatre Company) in Boca Raton.

"The goal of Entr'Acte Theatrix is to give emerging talents from South Florida the opportunity to get critical professional theater credits as they transition into the world of professional theater," explains Halmos.

With a book by Abe Burrows, Jack Weinstock, and Willie Gilbert, and music and lyrics by Frank Loesser, How to Succeed... is a perfect vehicle for the talented young company. Chock full of recognizable songs ("I Believe in You", "The Brotherhood of Man", "The Company Way"), great dance numbers, and riotous comedy, the satirical musical follows the career path of J. Pierrepont Finch as he makes his way up the corporate ladder.

Director/choreographer Kimberly Dawn Smith (a protégé of famed choreographer Michael Bennett) has assembled a fine cast to populate the offices of the World Wide Wicket Company:

Shane Blanford will play the ambitious young window cleaner J. Pierrepont Finch. A Boynton Beach resident, Blanford is well known to South Florida audiences. He was most recently seen as ‘The Emcee' in Entr'Acte Theatrix' production of Cabaret. During his extensive local and regional career he has performed at the Lake Worth Playhouse, the Lyric, Minack, Stagedoor, and Willow Theaters, as well as The Public Theater of South Florida.

Lake Park resident Leah Sessa (Rosemary) is a graduate of the Theater Department at Palm Beach Atlantic University. She had leading roles in several Principal Players productions, and played Sally Bowles in Entr'acte's recent hit, Cabaret.

John Costanzo (J.B. Biggley) of Lake Worth has been a fixture in the Palm Beach County Theatre scene for many years. He has appeared in numerous Lake Worth Playhouse productions, and at the Royal Palm Dinner Theater. A talented director and choreographer, Costanzo is a graduate of FAU, and in his ‘spare time' teaches high school French.

Erin Pittleman (Hedy LaRue) is a resident of Boca Raton. She recently won the hearts of critics and patrons alike in her dual role as Little Edie and Edith Beale in the critically acclaimed production of Grey Gardens at Rising Action Theatre.

Jeanne McKinnon (Miss Jones) was seen as Frau Schneider in Cabaret. Jeanne grew up in a dance studio and taught dance until she graduated to the theatre. She danced in the chorus of many shows such as Gypsy, Will Rogers Follies, and Cabaret before she began landing leading roles in 42nd Street, Singing in the Rain, Sweet Charity and Bye Bye Birdie. She has worked at the Royal Poinciana Playhouse, Burt Reynolds Dinner Theatre, Burt Reynolds Institute for Theatre Training and Lake Worth Playhouse. Ms. McKinnon also teaches dance and theatre to children at Standing Ovation Performing Arts and dance/fitness to residents at Palm Isles.

How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying! will run for 12 performances only at the Count de Hoernle Theatre (home of the Caldwell Theatre Company), 7901 North Federal Highway (opposite Steinway Piano) in Boca Raton.
