Former American Idol contestant, Anthony Fedorov, will be headlining in the title role of Joseph when the dazzling family favorite, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat comes to the King Center in Melbourne, Florida on June 18th and 19th.

After overcoming a birth defect that doctors believed would render him mute, Fedorov matured as an artist in front of millions every week on the hit TV series American Idol. His loyal fan base placed him in the show's Top 4 alongside Carrie Underwood, Bo Bice and Vonzell Solomon.

Also performing in this Equity production of Joseph is a special chorus of over thirty local children. After making the final cut through the audition process, they will be singing and moving to the catchy tune Go, Go, Go Jo.

The Biblical saga of Joseph and his coat of many colors comes to vibrant life in this delightful musical parable. Joseph, his father's favorite son, is a boy blessed with prophetic dreams. When he is sold into slavery by his jealous brothers and taken to Egypt, Joseph endures a series of adventures in which his spirit and humanity are continually challenged. JOSEPH's award winning score by the legendary composing team of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice includes such classics as "Any Dream Will Do" and "Close Every Door".
