The Van Wezel has announced that Anna Trebunskaya of Dancing with the Stars will be featured in this season's Forever Tango, Thur. Feb. 9 @ 8:00 pm. Due to an illness in the family, Cheryl Burke will not be performing on that date.

A Russian native recognized for her Latin and Ballroom styles, Anna was introduced to American viewers in Season Two of DWTS, when she paired with football great Jerry Rice to make the finals, and ultimately a second place finish. In Season Five, she worked with model AlBert Reed and in Season 6 danced with actor/funnyman Steve Guttenberg. In Season 9, her partner was UFC fighter Chuck Liddell and she made the finals again in Season 10, finishing second with Evan Lysacek. Anna was also partnered with quarterback Kurt Warner (Season 11) and boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard (Season 12). She is married to fellow DWTS pro Jonathan Roberts and they have performed together on results shows, during the first 3 seasons. This year (Season 13) Anna was paired with the loveable, but less athletic Carson Kressley, the Emmy-winning television star, celebrity stylist, author and fashion designer. Don't miss the opportunity to see Ms. Trebunskaya LIVE at the Van Wezel in one of the most passionate performances of the season-Forever Tango!

Tango inhabits a world where everything can be said with the flick of a leg, the tug of a hand, the tap of a foot and the arch of an eyebrow. Created and directed by Luis Bravo, Forever Tango recently enjoyed its third run on Broadway. With world-class tango dancers, a vocalist, and on-stage orchestra, the evening is a celebration of the seductive music and dance of Argentina.

Ticket prices range from $30 to $55. For more information and to buy tickets, contact the Van Wezel Box office at (941)953-3368 or log onto www.vanwezel.org.
